Crispy counter to climate change

Walkers have announced that they will reduce CO2 emissions from its crisp manufacturing process by around 70%!

A new technology will use CO2 captured from beer fermentation. They mix this with potato waste and turn it into fertiliser!

Once done, they spread it onto fields to feed the next year's crop.

The reason this is such a good technique to use is because creating fertiliser would normally produce large amounts of CO2. However the technology Walkers are using will create fertiliser without any generating CO2.

This technological process was developed via a grant from the UK government by CCm technologies.

We always knew there was an upside to drinking Beers and eating crisps!
